Corporativês - Corporate Speak Digital Art
Digital art piece about corporate speak.
In February I watched a lecture by Laurel Schwulst in which she shows her windchime website. In this site several artists made windchimes and streamed 24/7. All video streams were acceccible in a grid. The the visitor could rearrange the video sizes. She comments this element is oldschool, and that it is just HTML. The elemenht is < frame >.
I wanted to experiment with this element. Unfortunately < frame > has been deprecated, which means some modern broswers may not have suport for it. I looked for official alternatives, but got nothing.
Exploring my options I ended up creating a resizable element. You can resize it by dragging it from its right side - marked with black stripes.
This tech demo was used to create this digital art piece. The texts are in portuguese.
