On late November, early December I was reading the Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, and he talks a lot about death. I was mentally wrestling with death and permanence, and the finitude of things.
Then my aunt died.
I won't give details about my aunt's passing other than I was present when it happened. I had never seen someone die and it left a huge impression on me.
At the end of my end of the year work recess, around mid-january 2026, I was thinking about death. Not in a dangerous and suicidal way, I was reflecting on the inevitability of death and how to accept it.
I believe creating this site was a way to deal with grief in a positive manner.
